Things are way out of control!
The latest in Guatemala... PGN is raiding orphanages and foster homes. There was a HUGE fiasco at Seeds of Love orphanage this week - TWICE! Here is the link to read more about it. It will make you sick! http://www.semillasdeamor.org/blog/index.html A fellow adoptive parent has a daughter there and holds them in the highest esteem. This is not a place that there should be any concern. This is nothing more than a witch hunt. Who is to say that they won't show up at Cecilia's foster home and remove her??? Please hold all of these kids in your hearts and prayers that this craziness will end soon. I don't know how much more we can take.

i am mentally exhausted with all the e-mailing and calling today, besides my day to day job of working and paying the bills :)! Thanks for thinking of all of us at Semillas - All of these children are OUR children until they have a permanant, safe, loving home. That is our job as humankind!! It may be a little tough battle, but all children are worth this small price. Like you, it just sickens you to think that their safety and well-being is not put first, then finding the truth and doing the right thing. Take care and chat soon!
Crazy for sure. I hope things settle down soon, I don't know how much more my nerves can take!

You guys have been through so many ups and downs. Hang in there - its easier said than done, but I think it always sounds worse than it is, especially when you have been waiting for SO long. Take care of yourself. We'll be thinking about you guys LOTS!
