Currently they have only completed 160 interviews of the almost 2,300 cases currently pending. Of those 160, they kicked out 15. It makes me wonder if 5 of those were the children our lawyer witnessed this week at PGN. (The case where the lawyer was trying to pass off a woman as the mother of 5 completely different children) Still no word on when our interview is. Still no word on when they will start releasing cases. Originally they said after all the interviews were completed. At the rate of 160 in a month and over 2,000 more to do, this could go on forever.
Each day that goes by Cecilia becomes more and more bonded to her foster family, which is great but will have a greater impact on her when we "rip" her from the family she knows and loves. Her foster family is wonderful and takes excellent care of her (with the exception of lack of style when it comes to clothing and hair-do :-) )
On the USA end, we have done nothing to prepare for her arrival. Here is a picture of her room. See what I mean??? Cousin Ashley has stopped harassing me about getting it ready. The harassment will likely pick up when she see this. :-) I love you Ashley!!!

For you and all the other families out there waiting for their children, I want this to be over. My heart aches for everyone who is going through this whole PGN mess and I hope it ends soon so families can be united.
Emily..."If you build it she will come." Alright, so I believed this as well and we are still waiting. Get going on her room, it's never too early to be prepared. She WILL come home!
