So much to catchup on... so little time

Things have been a whirlwind since our first visit to see that sweet baby of ours! Admidst that whirlwind, we made a 2nd visit trip between January 24 - January 29th. We spent 2 days in Antigua with Scott's sister Jennifer and then all moved on to the Marriott to recieve Cecilia.

We had expected to see huge changes in her in the 6 weeks since our first visit. The main change was that her hair had grown, she was standing and had changed her gender. (That's a joke) Our foster mom is keeping 2 children - Cecilia and Jose. The translator told her the wrong child and she brought Jose. I immediately knew there was something wrong. Scott thought - 'Good Lord... It's true, they do switch babies!' The FM was mortified when she saw us because she knew we were Cecilia's parents. After 1/2 hour, they returned with our sweet baby.

Cecilia in fact had changed little with the exception of a few extra pounds. She did not experience the stranger anxiety that we feared due to her increase in age. She still laughs and smiles a lot! She stills loves a bath and being naked. It was very hard to leave her this time because we did not have the distraction of food poisening and stolen passports drama. Fear not though... we did both get the flu this time. Scott while we were there and me on the flight home. Still recovering!!!

On a good note, we were notified that we are officially in PGN. Please pray that our file always be on the top of the pile and that our paperwork looks good and gets a STAMP STAMP AND STAMP. I knew that "HOT" picture of me would come in handy. :-)

I do hope your stay in PGN is a short one.

Cecilia is a cutie and I love the hair.
