This past weekend was a blur. On Saturday, the family hosted a baby shower and Saturday night there was a 75th birthday party for my father-in-law, Harold. In addition to this, my sister-in-law from Florida was in. Although we had a great time, it was CRAZY! Cecilia was a trooper and only was thrown off in her napping pattern which as of today has not returned to normal. Cecilia met her cousins, Zoe and Nolan and loved both. Nolan and Cecilia had a few fun scuffles over Nolan's baseball and Aunt Tammy's necklace. It amazes me at the two-year-old things she is doing and experiencing (tantrums :-) )
The latest on Cecilia... she is addicted to the phone and now will use her hand as a make-shift when a real one is not available. She says "hello" and babbles on and on and sometimes rolls her eyes if she is disgusted with her conversation partner. Apparently she has seen others do this. She says "Eh-toe" (Ethel) and drops food on the floor for her. She has replaced "da-da" with "ma-ma" much to my delight. She hates having her diaper or clothes changed and dislikes... even more so... having her hair styled. She gives open-mouthed kisses, blows kisses and waves adios-goodbye on command.
