Another day at the Marriott ~ Day Three

We survived another day at the Marriott. It gets old after a while as there are only so many things you can do in a hotel room with a baby.

Cecilia slept well again last night from 10pm - 8am. She even slept through the fire alarm. At 2:30am this morning, there was a blaring siren accompanied by a message in Spanish saying we had to go outside. Scott and I got up and got dressed. He went into the hallway to see what other people were doing. A service man was walking the hall and said it was a false alarm. Apparently some jackass decided to pull the fire alarm. The Marriott was booked solid and there are something like 360 rooms. Assuming that quite a few rooms were occupied by more than 1 person, can you imagine was a mess that would have been.

Last night we ordered out Pollo Campero with the other adoptive parents. We sat in the baby lounge, drank beer, ate chicken and the little peanuts played. It worked well. There were some friendly debates about politics, etc but every left friends. :-) All the kids pooped and everything was great. It is amazing how much a group of parents can talk about pooping.

Cecilia says "da-da" very well. She has NO idea what she is saying but don't tell Scott. She also yells what sounds like "Scott" and seems to say "Gallo" which is the national beer. When her phone rings she says what sounds like "Hello" or maybe it is "Bueno." She loves the swing. More later.
